These Hahnemuhle Cappuccino 120gsm Hardback Sketchbooks feature 80 pages of beautifully subtle, coffee coloured paper.
The light brown hue of this smooth paper is reminiscent of a freshly brewed, frothy cappuccino and lends itself well to all kinds of drawing techniques. It pairs wonderfully with warm hues and darker shades of colour really stand out. You can also use white or pale toned drawing materials on this paper to create striking contrasts. The pages are bound together in several layers in a dark brown cover with a wood-effect print. The binding is thread stitched, meaning that all the pages will sit solidly allowing artists to work across a two page spread. The books also include a dark brown ribbon bookmark stitched into the binding.
The smooth surface of this paper means it is workable with many mediums including ink, pen, acrylic marker as well as other water-based pens with medium abrasion.
Each sketchbook includes 40 sheets / 80 pages of 120gsm Cappuccino paper. Available in A4 and A5 sizes
There are very few companies worldwide that can be proud of such a long company history like Hahnemühle’s. Founded back in 1584 as a paper mill in South Lower Saxony’s Solling uplands, Hahnemühle developed – strictly according to the spirit of its founding fathers – into a customer-oriented and innovative manufacturing facility. Hahnemühle paper has always been exclusive – from preserving valuable art treasures, to individuals and creatives looking for the right paper to bring their ideas to life. Hahnemühle’s ethos of environmental responsibility is inseparable from the company’s history and the ‘Green Rooster’ icon is a symbol of their active support for eco-friendly initiatives.
