Caran d’Ache have teamed up with Paul Smith again for their 5th edition of the collaboration.  This 849 ballpoint pen addition to the range, has a hexagonal aluminium body that is lightweight and durable. The design features Paul Smith’s iconic signature stripes - 8 colour stripes embossed on a satin black lacquered body. This is all complemented by a matt black chrome-plated flexible metal clip and push button. The pen includes a Caran d’Ache medium black Goliath refill. Paul Smith is a well-respected designer, especially in the fashion world. He opened his first shop in 1970, after learning tailoring in evening classes. He now has over 300 shops all around the world, and his 'classics with a twist' take on British style has become a cult favourite in Japan. Along with clothing, Paul Smith has designed an Anglepoise lamp, a special bespoke Land Rover Defender, and a reinterpretation of Richard Scarry's book for children, 'Cars and Trucks and Things that Go'. There have been two exhibitions of his work at the London Design Museum, and he was knighted in the year 2000 for his services to British fashion. For over ten years, Caran d’Ache and Paul Smith have celebrated their shared passion for colour, design and audacity.
