Diamine Registrar`s Permanent Blekk 30 ml. Blue/ Black

Diamine Blue/Black Registrars Ink bottle - 30ml

Permanent, Fast dry, Smooth flowing and Water resistant, Diamine Registrars Ink is blue in color and darken to blue-black as it dries.

Diamine brand ink has a long and rich history, dating back to 1864. Diamine ink is produced in the UK and is made with a gentle formula safe for all fountain pens. It has quickly become one of the most popular and sought-after brands around. A wide selection of ink colors is available.

This special Registrar's Ink has long been used by registrars and clergy for filling out official documents due to its strong water and fade resistance. It is an iron gall ink, a very old form of ink made from iron salts and tannic acid. The ink is light blue when wet, but as it dries the iron in the ink quickly oxidizes and turns the ink to a dark blue-gray black.

Note: This ink is safe to use in fountain pens, but we recommend cleaning your pen regularly due to the above-average acidity of iron gall inks.

Diamine have been making ink since 1864 and are one of the last remaining manufacturers in the UK. Diamine trade mark and the traditional production methods have survived and now in the 21st century their fountain pen ink remains the first choice of many pen connoisseurs.

Diamine ink is a water-based ink perfect for any brand of fountain pen. It is completely non-toxic and offers probably the widest range of quality fountain pen ink colours in the world - in both traditional and contemporary shades. By adding a secret ingredient to de-stress the surface, Diamine achieves vibrant colour with free flow that glides on the paper surface, and which will not clog your pen.
