Go with the Flow
The 67th quarterly Limited edition of Field Notes is a collection that celebrates the vibrant interplay of rivers and the people connected to them. This 3-pack features three memo books, each showcasing stunning cover designs that are both highly textured and colourful.
The first two books reproduce the U.S.A. and U.K. hardcover edition covers, treated with an exquisite blend of matte, gloss, and reticulated U.V. varnishes. The third book features the labour of Donwood’s artistic process, a hand-carved linocut titled “Meander,” which is also treated with matte and gloss UV varnishes. The embossed artwork, printed on sappi mccoy 100#c silk stock, adds an extremely personal touch to the publication of Is a River.
Each book is designed for the summer of 2025, coinciding with the American publication that interweaves the essence of nature with the written word. The graph grid pages, perfect for fountain pens, allow you to document your own journey through the landscapes that inspire you.
As best known for his artwork for Radiohead, the artist Landis Blair has created covers that capture the essence of the fourth river tale. The summer limited edition ensures that these notebooks not only serve as practical tools but also as artistic expressions of life—reminding us that Field Notes is a river alive.
