The first book, The Moomins and the Great Flood, tells the story of Moominmamma and Moomintroll as they navigate the flood to search for Moominpappa and a new home. As they grew in popularity, Moomin expanded from chapter books to comic strips, picture books, plays, television shows, and toys and merchandise. A techo cover featuring a scene from the novel "Moominpappa at Sea." Features navy thread embroidery on pale mint cotton fabric, depicting Moominmamma sleeping in the garden she painted on the wall while seeking peace during her life at the lighthouse.
