Informasjon
- These graph notebooks feature designs from Moomin, the beloved series created in 1945 by Finnish author, painter, and artist Tove Jansson.
The cover uses an illustration from the novel Moominsummer Madness, showing Moominpappa struggling to write a play script, with Moominmamma watching over him with concern.
Below the Hobonichi Graph Notebook logo is a message in Finnish that reads:
“Write as much as you like.”
The cover is made from matte gray material with silver foil stamping for the Hobonichi Graph Notebook title, the Finnish message, and the Moomin logo on the back.
The red spine tape adds a crisp accent, resulting in a color scheme that highlights the charm of the characters while maintaining a sophisticated look. The back cover also features an illustration from Moominsummer Madness, this time of Moominpappa hard at work rewriting the script for the play to be performed with all his friends. - Hobonichi Graph Notebook; a slim notebook made with Tomoe River paper that feels the same to use as your Hobonichi Techo. The graph-paper pages have the same 3.7mm squares as the Japanese-language Hobonichi Techo books, and the notebooks come in two sizes: A6 and A5. Both books are separated into four equal parts, with each section denoted by a different ink color. The color changes every 60 pages in the A6-size notebook and every 72 pages in the A5-size notebook, allowing users to divide a single notebook into multiple themes if desired.
All the paper is the thin, durable Tomoe River paper, and each notebook size is compatible with its respective Hobonichi Techo cover size. The notebooks are useful as a companion to the Hobonichi Techo, or simply a compact notebook you can fill to your heart’s content.

The Hobonichi Techo is much more than a planner: it's an internationally famous lifestyle icon. This cult planner features a minimal and functional design and is full of little details that make it absolutely unique, such as quotes and informational pages about Japanese history, annual events, and folk tales.
The Hobonichi Techo is made by Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shimbun (ほぼ日刊イトイ新聞), a website and lifestyle brand curated by Japanese copywriter Shigesato Itoi. Hobonichi comes from the word meaning “almost everyday” and techo meaning “planner.”
