HOBONICHI 2027 LINE UP LANSERES 1. SEPTEMBER 2026 - Norwegian time 0400 - STAY TUNED!
The Day-Free Original Size is an A6 size monthly techo that was introduced in the 2020 edition lineup. It’s split into two main parts: monthly calendars and a graph-paper notebook. The blank graph paper notebook contains a total of 171 pages and is comprised of 3.7 mm squares.
You can fill in as much as you want at a time without feeling constricted to dates. Keep a journal, draw a picture or graph, paste in ticket stubs, scribble on the pages, and fill the pages with capricious whims or meticulous plans — it’s all up to you.
The book uses thin and light yet durable Tomoe River paper. It's characterized by its ability to hold ink well and provide a smooth writing experience.
- Grid pattern: The graph sheet style keeps notes organized and lets you design various layouts for each page.
- The 2027 edition will contain entries for December 2026 through March 2028.
- Quotations: Entertaining, inspirational quotes printed on every other page offer bits of wisdom.
- Reference pages: Measurement tables, a printed ruler, guides to Japanese culture, and other information is conveniently available.
- Stitch binding: With this lay-flat binding, writing in your Techo is easy and comfortable.
This is a Japanese-language planner. All text including quotes and reference pages are in Japanese, but the planner pages use standard numerals to list the months and days, so anyone can use them.

HOBONICHI
The Hobonichi Techo is much more than a planner: it's an internationally famous lifestyle icon. This cult planner features a minimal and functional design and is full of little details that make it absolutely unique, such as quotes and informational pages about Japanese history, annual events, and folk tales.
The Hobonichi Techo is made by Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shimbun (ほぼ日刊イトイ新聞), a website and lifestyle brand curated by Japanese copywriter Shigesato Itoi. Hobonichi comes from the word meaning “almost everyday” and techo meaning “planner.”
