Informasjon
Slash is a basic design for the HON, a hardcover techo with an integrated cover. On a dark navy cover that looks almost black, a diagonal slash is foil-printed in gold.
The design is based on the forward-slash symbol ( / ) used when writing dates. The cover fabric has a matte texture that feels wonderful in your hands and is resistant to grime, as well as wear and tear. The spine is foil-pressed in gold with the year 2027 and the HON logo, so you can easily identify which year’s techo it is when it’s placed on your bookshelf alongside other books.
The HON contents are the same as the Hobonichi Techo Original with daily pages covering January 1 to December 31 and has English quotes on the bottom of the page. Inside, the HON offers all the hallmarks of the series: thread-stitch binding that opens fully flat at 180°, Tomoe River paper, and a page-per-day layout to capture notes, plans, or illustrations freely. In addition to daily pages, the planner includes yearly and monthly calendars, an index, and bonus pages
The HON can be used without a cover and is just like a book. A hardcover design is already printed and adhered to the book, making it more compact and easy to carry around. The book uses thin and light yet durable Tomoe River paper. It's characterized by its ability to hold ink well and provide a smooth writing experience. Just like the Hobonichi Techo Original and Cousin, the HON uses the same lay-flat stitch binding method and opens to 180 degrees so you can write in it without having to hold the pages down.
The HON has two attached bookmarks so you can mark your place in frequently used pages.

HOBONICHI
The Hobonichi Techo is much more than a planner: it's an internationally famous lifestyle icon. This cult planner features a minimal and functional design and is full of little details that make it absolutely unique, such as quotes and informational pages about Japanese history, annual events, and folk tales.
The Hobonichi Techo is made by Hobo Nikkan Itoi Shimbun (ほぼ日刊イトイ新聞), a website and lifestyle brand curated by Japanese copywriter Shigesato Itoi. Hobonichi comes from the word meaning “almost everyday” and techo meaning “planner.”
