HOBONICHI Techo HON 2027 V&A Series; Vine A6

The Hobonichi Techo, created in collaboration with the V&A (Victoria and Albert Museum, London), celebrates the much-loved Arts and Crafts patterns of William Morris and his creative companions. Drawing from the museum’s unparalleled collections, each techo combines iconic designs with the Hobonichi Techo’s signature style. The cover features  Vine , with ripe grape clusters entwined in lush leaves. Originally designed in 1873 for a hand-printed wallpaper, the design reflects William Morris’ love of nature and its influence on the Arts and Crafts Movement. Gold-foil embossing bears Morris' famous words: “Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful.” To reflect the artistry behind the design, the cover is printed on a canvas-like material, which preserves the sketch lines and ink variations of the original. The HON contents are the same as the Hobonichi Techo Original with daily pages covering January 1 to December 31 and has English quotes on the bottom of the page. Inside, the HON offers all the hallmarks of the series: thread-stitch binding that opens fully flat at 180°, Tomoe River paper, and a page-per-day layout to capture notes, plans, or illustrations freely. In addition to daily pages, the planner includes yearly and monthly calendars, an index, and bonus pages  The HON can be used without a cover and is just like a book. A hardcover design is already printed and adhered to the book, making it more compact and easy to carry around. The book uses thin and light yet durable Tomoe River paper. It's characterized by its ability to hold ink well and provide a smooth writing experience. Just like the Hobonichi Techo Original and Cousin, the HON uses the same lay-flat stitch binding method and opens to 180 degrees so you can write in it without having to hold the pages down.
